This office interior in Odesa was designed for a client who has been working in commercial real estate and construction for many years.
At our first meeting, he admitted that he usually sticks to the same solutions, but this time he wanted to try something different — to create a bespoke interior that would inspire and be visually pleasing.
This modern office is not about profit — the client created it for himself. It will serve as a workspace for his team, as well as a place for business meetings and negotiations with partners.
The main goal of the project was to combine office functionality with an attractive and expressive design — a space that is comfortable to be in and enjoyable to work in.
Concept.
Project scope: office interior design and functional space planning.
The client’s request was not only driven by a desire to experience creative excitement through aesthetics and visual solutions, but also by a willingness to explore a new approach to functional space planning.
Alongside shaping the visual concept, we carefully considered all work scenarios, movement logic, and interactions between different zones, integrating them into the office design despite the clear spatial constraints defined by the existing layout and form.

Запит замовника полягав не лише у прагненні відчути творчий азарт через естетику та візуальні рішення, а й у бажанні побачити новий для себе підхід до функціонального планування простору.
Паралельно з формуванням образу ми мали врахувати всі сценарії роботи, логіку руху та взаємодію між зонами, інтегрувавши їх у дизайн офісу, простір і форма якого диктувала чіткі обмеження.

Spatial features and structural constraints.
Area of 61 m², windows on one side, and an elongated layout became the main challenges. This project is an example of a space with challenges that we did not hide, but instead emphasized.
By dividing the space into functional zones, we further enhanced its elongated form, while keeping the natural light sources unobstructed.

Площа 61 м2, вікна з одного боку та витягнута форма стали головними викликами. Цей проєкт — приклад простору з викликом, який ми не маскували, а навпаки — підкреслили.
Відсікаючи на функціональні зони, ми ще більше витягнули основний простір, при цьому не перекрили джерела природного світла.
The planning solution is built around a clear division based on usage scenarios. Right at the entrance, an open shared space is formed, combining a waiting area with a work zone centered around a large communal table for four. This is where daily life is concentrated — work and interaction.
Supporting functions are grouped into a separate block: an office kitchen, a bathroom, and a meeting room. The meeting room is enclosed with a glass partition, providing privacy while maintaining a visual connection with the main space.

Планувальне рішення побудоване на чіткому поділі за сценаріями використання. Відразу при вході формується відкритий спільний простір (open space), що поєднує зону очікування та робочу зону з великим комунальним столом на чотири місця. Саме тут зосереджене щоденне життя — робота та взаємодія.
Допоміжні функції винесені в окремий блок: кухня в офісі, санвузол і переговорна кімната. Переговорна відокремлена скляною перегородкою, що забезпечує приватність, зберігаючи візуальний зв’язок із загальним середовищем.
Visual solutions became a tool for working with geometry. We emphasized the elongated shape by dividing the volume into two zones without using partitions — instead relying on furniture and materials.
To reduce the feeling of excessive length, we introduced ceiling-based zoning. The working area was left with exposed concrete, while in the other parts the ceiling is finished in drywall.
Additionally, the working area is defined on the floor: mosaic tiles outline the desk area, breaking up the long perspective. The height of the space required careful work with scale — a decorative panel in an accent green color runs along the perimeter, visually grounding the composition.
For the same reason, the glass partitions do not reach the ceiling, helping to maintain a sense of spatial continuity. In the working area, the composition is complemented by wall-mounted wooden shelves, while in the lounge area, suspended shelving adds a tactile quality to the space.

Візуальні рішення стали інструментом роботи з геометрією. Витягнуту форму ми підкреслили, поділивши об’єм на дві зони без використання перегородок — за допомогою меблів та матеріалів. Щоб зняти відчуття надмірної довжини, ми застосували зонування по стелі. Робоча зона залишилася з відкритим бетоном, тоді як в інших частинах стеля виконана з гіпсокартону.
Додатково робочу зону акцентовано на підлозі: мозаїчна плитка окреслює контур столу, розбиваючи довгу перспективу. Висота приміщення вимагала роботи з масштабом: по периметру ми провели декоративну панель акцентного зеленого кольору, щоб візуально приземлити композицію.
З тієї ж причини скляні перегородки не доходять до стелі, що допомагає зберегти відчуття цілісності. У робочій зоні композицію доповнюють настінні дерев’яні полиці, а в зоні відпочинку — підвісні стелажі, що додають простору тактильності.
In the kitchen area, we focused on functionality, restrained aesthetics, and everyday comfort. The space is built around a combination of clean lines, dark textures, and warm lighting accents.
An additional feature is the bar counter with custom lighting, which creates a more intimate atmosphere for communication and team relaxation.

У зоні кухні ми зробили акцент на функціональності, стриманій естетиці та комфорті щоденного користування. Простір побудований на поєднанні чистих ліній, темних текстур і теплих світлових акцентів.
Додатковим елементом стала барна стійка з кастомним освітленням, яка формує більш камерну атмосферу для комунікації та відпочинку команди.
