“For us, it is important that a space is, first of all, convenient and logical in everyday use.”
The “DOY7 UNIT” apartment became an example of a rational approach to apartment design within a shared architectural framework of the series. Unlike the 5AI project, where the key role was played by the transformation of the layout, here the focus shifted toward functionality, practicality, and a clear logic of zoning. The family aimed to achieve a space that is максимально convenient for daily life, where every function has its own place.
Our task was to support this approach while preserving the aesthetic integrity of the interior.
Concept.
In the “DO” apartment, the main task was to create a highly functional space while also paying attention to its aesthetic qualities.
The open kitchen–living–hall area required a carefully considered layout of furniture and extensive storage systems, so that the apartment would still feel like a cohesive living space rather than a collection of separate blocks.
Particular attention was given to the placement of the entrance wardrobe and utility units, ensuring they function as part of a unified space without disrupting the logic of movement. Throughout the project, we sought a delicate balance between the clients’ desire for practicality and the need to maintain a harmonious interior composition.

У квартирі ДО головним завданням було створити простір максимально функціональним, приділяючи увагу естетичній складовій.
Відкрита зона кухня-вітальня-передпокій вимагала продуманого розташування меблів та численних систем зберігання так, щоб квартира залишалася відчутною як житловий простір, а не як набір блоків.
Особливу увагу потребувало розташування шафи в передпокої та господарських блоків, щоб вони працювали як частина єдиного простору, не порушуючи логіку руху. Під час роботи над проєктом ми шукали тонкий баланс між прагненням замовників до практичності та необхідністю зберегти гармонійність інтер’єру.

The apartment is organized around two interconnected axes.
The first axis extends from the entrance along the kitchen, forming an open shared space where the kitchen, living room, and hallway are perceived as a single unified volume. The layout follows everyday living scenarios, with all functions arranged intuitively and conveniently.
The second axis, set at a 45-degree angle, defines the private zone of the apartment. Along this axis are located the master bedroom, bathroom, and children's room with access to the balcony. This organization creates a clear distinction between the communal and private areas while making the most of the corner layout. Built-in furniture and storage systems are seamlessly integrated into the wall planes, helping to maintain a clean and organized atmosphere. Thanks to this zoning strategy, the apartment retains a strong sense of openness, spaciousness, and lightness.

Квартира ДО організована на двох взаємопов’язаних осях.
Перша вісь тягнеться від входу вздовж кухні і формує відкритий спільний простір, де кухня, вітальня та передпокій сприймаються як єдиний блок. Тут логіка підпорядкована щоденним сценаріям — всі функції розташовані інтуїтивно.
Друга вісь, під кутом 45°, визначає приватний блок квартири. Уздовж неї розташовані батьківська спальня, ванна кімната та дитяча кімната з виходом на балкон. Така організація забезпечує чітке розмежування загального та приватного простору, максимально використовуючи кутовий об’єм. Вбудовані меблі та системи зберігання інтегровані у площини стін, що дозволяє підтримувати впорядковану атмосферу. Завдяки такому розташуванню зон квартира залишає відчуття простору та легкості.
The apartment interior is designed in a light color palette, with white cabinetry and ceilings dominating the space to emphasize a sense of order and openness. Dark wood is used as an accent for the open shelving and furniture details, while the décor features muted gray tones for a restrained and cohesive composition.
The walls are painted gray and complemented by white baseboards, creating a unified and balanced atmosphere.

Інтер’єр квартири вирішено в світлій палітрі: домінує білий колір корпусних меблів і стель, що підкреслює відчуття порядку. Для відкритих частин меблів використано темне дерево як акцент, а декор — у сіруватих відтінках для стриманої композиції.
Стіни пофарбовані у сірий колір з білим плінтусом, створюючи відчуття цілісності.
The furniture follows a functional minimalist style, with seamless built-in cabinetry integrated into the space, while wooden elements add rhythm and warmth to the composition. Statement lighting delicately highlights key areas without overwhelming the interior. The apartment conveys a sense of calmness and understated sophistication.
All materials, furniture, and color accents work together to maintain an organized and comfortable atmosphere.

Меблі виконані у стилі функціональний мінімалізм: суцільні корпусні блоки інтегровані в простір, а дерев’яні включення додають ритму. Виразні світильники делікатно підкреслюють ключові зони, не перевантажуючи інтер’єр. Квартира передає відчуття спокою та респектабельності.
Всі матеріали, меблі та кольорові акценти підтримують впорядковану і комфортну атмосферу.
A contemporary bathroom designed in warm light tones with a clean minimalist aesthetic. The interior combines textured light surfaces, natural wood finishes, and soft ambient lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere.
Functionality is enhanced by a built-in cabinet that integrates both a washing machine and a dryer, maintaining a seamless and visually clean composition.
The bathtub area is highlighted with textured mosaic tiles that add depth and a refined accent to the space. Floating furniture, concealed storage solutions, and a restrained color palette emphasize the modern character of the interior.

Сучасна ванна кімната у теплих світлих тонах із лаконічним мінімалістичним дизайном. В інтер’єрі поєднані світлі фактурні поверхні, натуральні текстури дерева та м’яке декоративне підсвічування, що створює затишну атмосферу.
Функціональність простору забезпечує вбудована шафа, у якій інтегровані пральна та сушильна машини, зберігаючи чистоту композиції.
Зона ванни акцентована мозаїчною плиткою, що додає простору глибини.

The pre-renovation apartment is the result of a dialogue with the family.
Most of the decisions were driven by their desire for maximum convenience, while our task was to maintain order and aesthetics. We felt that interior aesthetics are a delicate balance between the clients’ wishes and the integrity of the space.
Many solutions were found through compromise: well-placed accents and the integration of furniture helped preserve harmony even within a highly functional environment.

Більшість рішень визначалися їхнім прагненням до максимальної зручності, а наша задача полягала в підтримці порядку та естетики. Ми відчували, що естетика інтер’єру — це тонка межа між бажанням замовників і цілісністю простору.
Багато рішень було знайдено через компроміс: правильні акценти та інтеграція меблів допомогли зберегти гармонію навіть у максимально функціональному середовищі.
