This private house was designed with the intention of creating a cohesive and warm living environment, where expressiveness emerges not from overt gestures but from thoughtful decisions and the character of the architecture itself.
We worked with materiality, proportions, and accents, allowing the space to remain restrained while still containing distinctive, unconventional moments that shape its individuality.
Concept.
Concept development and collaboration with the client
The design of the house began with a conversation about the overall mood: a sense of warmth, calm, and comfort without rigid stylistic boundaries. Over time, the process evolved into a direct collaboration with the future resident.
At this stage, a personal vision emerged that required a reassessment of the initial direction. Adapting to the new requirements, we established a shared approach, within which the project gained its coherence and integrity.

Проєктування будинку почалося з розмови про загальний настрій: відчуття тепла, спокою та затишку без жорстких стилістичних меж. Згодом процес перейшов у формат прямої співпраці з майбутньою мешканкою.
Саме на цьому етапі сформувалося персональне бачення, що вимагало перегляду початкового напрямку. Перелаштувавшись під нові задачі, ми вибудували спільний вектор, у якому проєкт отримав свою цілісність.

The 240 m² house is organized around a kitchen-living area with a direct transition to an outdoor terrace. This core defines the tone of the entire home: the main materials and design principles are established here, creating a unified design code.
Working with scale: The living room features high ceilings (up to 7 meters), which became an opportunity for visual adjustment of the space.
Wall finishing: Wood cladding starts at a height of 3 meters, directing attention to eye level, while the light-toned lower section balances the vertical proportions.
Lighting scenarios: Light pendant fixtures above the dining table and a single line of linear lighting softly emphasize the zoning of the space.
Natural materials: We used deep-toned wood, stone with green veining, and natural textiles to create a distinctive and atmospheric interior.

Будинок площею 240 м² організований навколо простору кухні-вітальні з прямим переходом на відкриту терасу. Це ядро задає тон всьому дому: тут сформовані основні матеріали та принципи, які створюють єдиний дизайн-код.
Робота з масштабом: Вітальня має високі стелі (до 7 метрів), що стало приводом для візуального корегування простору.
Оздоблення стін: Обшивка дерев’яною дошкою починається з висоти 3 метрів, концентруючи увагу на рівні очей, тоді як нижній пояс у світлому тоні врівноважує вертикальні пропорції.
Світлові сценарії: Легкі світильники над столом та єдина лінія підсвітки м’яко підкреслюють розташування зон.
Натуральні матеріали: Ми використовували деревину глибоких тонів, камінь із зеленими прожилками та природний текстиль для створення виразної атмосфери.
The clients initially had only drawings and фасades, so there was no full understanding of the house’s spatial volume. We developed a working 3D model, reconstructing the geometry and overall volumes of the entire space. Based on this model, we created a design project that allowed the clients to clearly see the outcome of their efforts and evaluate the space in real proportions and details even before construction began.
Interior design and architectural solutions were developed in synergy: the architectural concept was enhanced through compositions, materials, and interior detailing. The 3D visualization provided the clients with a complete understanding of the house and helped them experience it as a cohesive environment.

Замовники мали лише креслення та фасади, тож повного уявлення про об’єм будинку ще не було. Ми створили робочу 3D-модель, відтворивши геометрію та об’єми всього простору, а на її основі розробили дизайн-проєкт, який дозволив замовникам побачити, куди приведуть їхні зусилля, та оцінити простір у реальних пропорціях і деталях ще до початку будівництва.
Дизайн інтер’єру та архітектурні рішення працювали в синергії: архітектурний задум підкреслювався композиціями, матеріалами та деталями інтер’єру. 3D-візуалізація дала замовникам повне уявлення про будинок і допомогла відчути його як цілісне середовище.
We didn’t replicate classic English interiors; instead, we conveyed their restrained, noble atmosphere through materials and details. Dark wood tones, natural stone, and light walls create a warm and elegant backdrop, while subtle classical accents—baseboards, moldings, and milled furniture—highlight the refinement of the space.
The repetition of materials and finishing principles across different rooms ensures harmony and cohesion, creating a contemporary interior with a classic ambiance.

Ми не копіювали англійську класику, а передавали її стриманий, благородний настрій через матеріали та деталі. Темні відтінки деревини, натуральний камінь і світлі стіни створюють теплий і елегантний фон, а тонкі класичні акценти — плінтуси, молдинги, меблі з фрезеруванням — підкреслюють витонченість простору.
Повторення матеріалів і оздоблювальних принципів у різних приміщеннях забезпечує гармонію та цілісність, створюючи сучасний інтер’єр із класичною атмосферою.
The library is defined by a darker, more restrained palette and an elegant atmosphere. Repeating elements from other rooms are reinterpreted here in different materials and tones, emphasizing the unique character of the space and creating the mood desired by the client.
The focal point of the room is a classic solid dark wood table, which establishes a strong visual anchor. It is complemented by lighter furniture pieces to maintain a balanced and harmonious composition.

Бібліотека відрізняється більш темною, серйозною палітрою та елегантною атмосферою. Повторювані елементи з інших кімнат тут виконані в іншому матеріалі та відтінку — це підкреслює унікальний характер приміщення та створює бажаний замовницею настрій.
Акцентом простору став класичний масивний стіл із темного дерева, який створює точку тяжіння. Його оточили більш легкі меблі, щоб композиція залишалася гармонійною.
Along two parallel walls, cabinetry of varying heights is arranged: the lower units follow a standard height, while the taller ones extend nearly to the sloped ceiling and are equipped with a rolling ladder. This detail elegantly reinforces the classical character of the library while adding functional convenience.
At the same time, the library stands as a distinct, more formal space while remaining part of the overall logic of the house. It echoes the details and design principles found in other rooms, but expresses them through its own deeper, darker palette.

По двох паралельних стінах розташовані шафи різної висоти: нижня — стандартна, а вища доходить майже до скатної стелі та обладнана роликовою драбинкою, що елегантно підкреслює класичний характер бібліотеки й додає функціональної зручності.
Бібліотека водночас є окремим, серйозним простором і частиною цілісної логіки будинку, повторюючи деталі й принципи оформлення інших приміщень, але у своєму особливому темному та глибокому відтінку.

A house with character and a thoughtfully crafted atmosphere.
The house demonstrates how well-considered details and subtle design techniques create a sense of harmony and comfort.
Repeated elements, adapted to each space, help form a unified composition, while natural materials, textures, and muted tones add warmth and tactility, creating a cohesive and expressive environment.

Будинок демонструє, як продумані деталі та неочевидні прийоми створюють відчуття гармонії та затишку.
Повторювані елементи, адаптовані під кожне приміщення, допомагають формувати єдину композицію, а натуральні матеріали, текстури та стримані відтінки додають теплоти й тактильності, створюючи цілісне та виразне середовище.
