Atmo9 is a bright apartment designed at the request of a married couple for the wife’s parents. From the very first conversation, it became clear that this interior was not meant to showcase trends, but to become a place where living feels effortless.
“We want them to feel comfortable. Light, calm, but with an added sense of restrained sophistication,” the clients described as the main brief for the design project.
Concept.
In this project, we worked within clearly defined constraints: minimal intervention in the developer’s original layout and a strong focus on the quality of the living environment. We deliberately preserved the geometry of the space, concentrating instead on proportions, light, and detailing.
The compact area of 42.5 m² required restrained and carefully considered decisions. It was essential to avoid visual overload and create a minimalist interior that remains comfortable and does not feel tiring over time.
Our main task was to go beyond conventional approaches. We are open to investing extra time and effort to propose non-standard solutions that clients do not expect — even when this means going further than simply following predefined expectations.

У цьому проєкті ми працювали в чітко окреслених межах: мінімальне втручання в планування від забудовника та максимальна увага до якості середовища. Геометрію приміщення ми зберігали свідомо, зосереджуючись на роботі з пропорціями, світлом і деталями.
Компактна площа 42,5 м² вимагала стриманих і вивірених рішень. Важливо було уникнути перевантаження, створивши мінімалістичний інтер’єр, який залишатиметься комфортним і не втомлюватиме з часом.
Наше головне завдання полягало в тому, щоб виходити за межі стандартних підходів. Ми відкриті до того, щоб ризикувати своїм часом і пропонувати замовникам такі нестандартні рішення, які вони не очікують — навіть якщо це вимагає більше зусиль, ніж просте слідування очікуванням.

The apartment configuration had a distinctive feature: two opposing load-bearing monolithic concrete walls were set at non-orthogonal angles relative to the main axis.
This created geometric and engineering constraints, particularly regarding the installation of electrical wiring.

Конфігурація квартири мала особливість: дві протилежні несучі стіни з монолітного бетону мали непрямі кути відносно основної осі.
Це створювало геометричні та інженерні обмеження, зокрема щодо монтажу електропроводки.

Collaboration
with clients and the joint search for solutions.
A key part of the project was close collaboration with the client. Her involvement turned the process into a dialogue: together we searched for creative solutions, discussed them, and experimented while staying true to our own principles.
As a result, the space feels organic and cohesive.

Важливою частиною проєкту стала тісна взаємодія із замовницею. Її залученість перетворила роботу на діалог: ми разом шукали креативні рішення, обговорювали їх і експериментували, залишаючись вірними власним принципам.

Although the space had simple parameters, it did not limit our search for interesting ideas.
Simplicity in the interior does not mean banality — it provides an opportunity to create a functional environment with character that fully meets the needs of its residents.
